
What is National Parents' Day?
It is our newest national holiday, designed to honor parents as the centers of our families. Parents' Day was created by an Act of Congress:
In 1994, following unanimous approval by the U.S. Congress, President Bill Clinton signed into law a bill setting aside the fourth Sunday of every July as Parents Day in America. Sunday, July 22, 2001 will be the eighth celebration of this special day.
