Since the creation of Parents' Day in 1994, volunteers in Colorado have been working to promote this new holiday.  Some of us have been working in an ad hoc fashion, in conjunction with the National Parents Day Council. 

Recently we decided to formalize our efforts, and build consistent effort toward the future.  For that reason, we have created the Colorado Coalition for Parents and Children as a Colorado-based non-profit educational organization.
